| My sister, Mary gave birth to her first child this past Saturday and this baby girl is so beautiful. My whole life I have always thought of babies as not very good looking but when I saw Allyson, I was just blown away by how beautiful my neice was. I was also reminded of how amazing our God is, as I thought about the whole concept of birth and life and so on. I am also very thankful that my sister married such a good and caring man of God who I know will always do his best to be a great husband and father. Please keep Mary, Scott and Allyson in your prayers as they start a new and awesome chapter in their lives. I can't wait to spoil my neice and to bring her some cousins to play with. | | |
| It was a great 3 weeks in Philly with our missions team. It was tiring but I loved our time there and I will miss all of the people at Logan Hope. I miss so many already but also know that God will allow us to meet again. I also miss spending 24/7 with our team and seeing God at work in people's lives. It was great seeing so many people grow and I hope and pray that God will continue to grow you all.
I also truly enjoyed seeing so many people in Philly again and I wish I saw more of you but I thank God that He allowed me to see the ones I did. You all will continue to be missed greatly and will be in my prayers. Be good and God bless. | | |
| I know that this is my first entry in a long time but I felt a need to say a few words. I called my mom on her birthday a couple of days ago and we had a great talk. I then received a birthday card that she sent me today and it was just such a nice and touching card. It was a few days early, unlike mine which as usual will arrive a few days late (even though it is sent express mail to Korea). I'm always reminded of her overwhelming love for me and as I read her words I can't help but to remember that I have the greatest mom in the world. So this is an entry dedicated to my awesome mom and I hope someone (hint: Mary) will send a Korean version of it to my mom. Thank for everything mom and I know I have such a hard time saying these words to you, but I have nothing but love for you. You truly are the greatest mom in the world. | | |
| I know it's kind of late but I'm hoping people had a Happy New Year. FKPC retreat was awesome and I praise God for that. The more I get to know you guys the more love grows in my heart. And for those of you who visited me right after, it was great seeing you and I hope to see you again soon. Even the one who kept me up with all the snoring.
I'll be going to OIL with a bunch of FCF people so I ask you all to keep us in your prayers, especially since I've been feeling kind of sick. I'm hoping we have an awesome and blessed time in the Lord.
Oh and Happy Birthday Jade. You'll always be one of my special ones. But you knew that. Well I need to sleep now so I guess that's it for now. God bless you all. | | |
| Went to a David Crowder Band concert Sunday with Shane and Shane and another band opening for them. I was so tired and out of it when I got there as I haven't been feeling good all weekend but I went anyway (since I already bought the ticket and also had never seen them in concert) and thought I might regret it. Oh how wrong I was. It was an awesome experience and I was not only impressed but was so blessed. All my physical tiredness and weaknesses ran away from me as I praised the Lord with reckless abandon and it was to put it simply, awesome. I'm paying for it now as I'm in pretty bad shape right now but it's all good. And God is good...all the time. | | |
